RWS Global was entrusted with crafting a fan experience for the Washington Commanders, recognizing the pivotal role of the fan base at FedEx Field. Situated in the dynamic and culturally rich environment of Washington, DC, the project focuses on community and culture. While still celebrating stadium action and team achievements, the Entrance Sculpture, In-Bowl Stage, and Outdoor Plaza prioritize the fans. These elements aim to capture and recreate the game-day experience, fostering the communal spirit and camaraderie of fans supporting not only their team but each other. The message to Commanders’ fans everywhere is clear — You are part of the team. Welcome home.
