The Digital Content Manager is required to input, upload and administer the digital content which is displayed within the ‘Navigate app’, and on plasma screens and ‘Way-finders’ onboard a specified Marella Cruise Ship. This role sits within the Entertainment Department; the department consists of a team of Entertainment Hosts, Production Cast Members, a Technical Manager and team of Technicians, a Children’s Host Team, as well as a Musical Director and team of Resident Musicians.

In addition to all resident Crew/Officers within the Entertainment Department, fly on/off Guest Entertainers will also join the department’s complement each week.

Working mainly alongside the Assistant Cruise Director who is responsible for the scheduling and programming of events, activities and shows, you must ensure that the daily ‘Cruise News’ and all digital signage and the onboard app are kept up to date with daily programmes, advertising and menu changes. Supporting other departments with revenue generation via the advertising mediums, is also a vital part of your role. You will also support the Entertainment Technical Manager and Assistant Cruise Director with daily tasks such as operating Cinema movies, supporting the creation of the Cinema schedule and uploading files for pool deck screen usage.
