RWS Global is hosting auditions on March 18th in Milton Keynes, UK seeking Creative Waves Hosts for P&O Cruises.

Primary Duties 

• Responsible for running all components of the Creative Waves program. 

• Must have a solid background in art and/or crafts and be comfortable teaching a wide variety of activities, including drawing, painting, watercolors, macrame, origami, clay modeling and more. 

• Presentation Skills: Must be skilled in presenting activities in a positive and engaging manner. 

• Confident in presenting with and without a microphone, engaging with both small and large groups.  

• Conduct all sessions with a high-energy, friendly, positive, and supportive manner, with the ability to connect with guests of all ages and skill level.  

• Comfortable preparing your own demonstration arts and crafts, which can be presented each session for guests to follow.  

• To bring new creative ideas to the table and have the ability to adapt sessions with the supplies you already have available to you.   

• Lead on writing the weekly session schedules, delivering a varied itinerary which follows the Scheduling Guidelines provided by RWS Global and P&O Cruises.   

• Responsible for organizing the Art Cart and ensuring all workshop and supply areas are kept tidy and organized.  

• Responsible for contributing to the weekly voyage reports, which detail revenue and the number of attendees each session.  

• Host changeover preparation and correspondence, to include but not limited to; uniform return/storage, stock management for changeover, scheduling support for the first few weeks.  

• Must represent RWS Global and P&O Cruises positively and in line with company policies and communicate effectively to guests and colleagues on and off duty.  

• Ensure you are always on time for work, allowing ample set-up time for Creative Waves sessions.  

 Co-Ordinator Role Duties 

• Lead on weekly stock management, reporting & ordering.  

• Ensuring the weekly voyage report is complete and submitting it to P&O Cruises HQ & RWS HQ.  

• Lead on Creative Waves programme-specific correspondence and direct liaison with the Entertainment Manager, Assistant Entertainment Manager and F&B Managers on board.  

• To complete the daily checklist: 

• Art Cart Set-Up – showing examples of sessions for that day.  

• Chalkboard Daily Schedule 

• Remind F&B Managers in the morning, of any required beverages outside of bar hours.
